About Us
Ungikhona Community Development is a Non-Profit Company (NPC) dedicated to addressing the critical gap in our communities for skills empowerment. Our mission is to bridge this gap by launching affordable skills development projects, where we skill individuals, guide them in starting their own businesses, and mentor them until they succeed.
We are driven by a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in underserved communities. Poverty, often the root cause of many societal ills including theft, robbery, and violence, has a pervasive impact on people’s lives.
Those living in poverty often lack access to advanced education, life skills, and job training, increasing their likelihood of unemployment or underemployment. They may also reside in areas where gangs and drug misuse are prevalent. We believe that poverty must end, and individuals must rise above their circumstances.
Background
Ungikhona Community Development Center traces its roots back to a divine call received by Evangelist Mandlenkosi Samson Goge in 2010. Evangelist Pastor MS Goge is married to his beloved wife Phindile Goge and has two sons. He was moved by a deep sense of purpose to serve the communities in need. Inspired by a calling from God, he embarked on a mission to provide essential services to the underprivileged, orphans, the addicted, vulnerable children, and others facing various challenges.
